Opera Open 2023

The OPERA OPEN festival at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv celebrates its 10th anniversary with a program that highlights its strong international content, genre diversity, and the 40-year tradition of the Verdi Festival. Plovdiv Opera focuses on some of the most successful productions, formats, and creative collaborations over the years, which have firmly positioned OPERA OPEN on the map of European open-air music festivals. The program is divided into genres such as "Opera and Ballet," "Classical and Jazz," and "Musical and Rock," and includes premiere projects featuring leading artists from both the Bulgarian and international stages.
