The oratorio "Elijah"

The Orchestra and Choir of Opera Plovdiv will present one of the largest works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy – the oratorio Elijah. It depicts events from the life of the Biblical prophet Elijah, as described in the Old Testament. The concert will be conducted by Professor Andreas Hermann – conductor of the Munich Philharmonic and professor of conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
