Vera Beleva
Assistant Director
Vera Beleva is an assistant director at the Sofia Opera and Ballet. She graduated from the Varna Music School in 1988, specializing in opera singing. From 1989 to 1993, she was part of the Stara Zagora Opera, and later worked in Germany, Austria, France, and England. Since 2004, she has been with the Plovdiv Opera and, since 2005, has worked as an assistant director at the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
Since 2011, she has been an assistant to Maestro Plamen Kartalov in productions such as "Masked Ball," "Tosca," "Rigoletto," "Boris Godunov," and "Nabucco." She played a key role in the successful presentation of "Masked Ball" in Bucharest and "Rigoletto" in Krasnoyarsk.
Additionally, Beleva is the assistant director in the production of "Aida" by Verdi, directed by Hugo de Ana, as well as in all of Hugo de Ana's productions at the Sofia Opera and Ballet and in the "Trovatore" production with Filippo Tonon.
