IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

published: 22 Jun 2018 | 11:30

Conditions for interruption, rescheduling or cancellation of an OPERA OPEN performance due to bad weather

1. Even if the weather is bad, the cancellation of a performance is not announced before the scheduled start time. In the event of a cancellation, the performance is rescheduled for an alternate date, which is usually the following day. In this case, the tickets are valid without confirmation for the new date.

2. If unfavorable weather conditions do not allow the performance to start on schedule, Opera Plovdiv may delay the start of the performance up to 45 minutes before the announcement of its cancellation.

4. In the event of an interruption, Opera Plovdiv reserves the right to continue the performance with a piano.

5. In the event that the performance is permanently canceled before the end of the First Act, the audience has the right to purchase a ticket for the same category of seats for another Opera Open performance at a 50% discount from the full price on presentation of their ticket.

6. In the event that the performance is finally canceled after the First Act, the performance is considered to have been performed.

7. In the event of a temporary interruption, continuation with a piano or cancellation of a performance that has already started, tickets are not refundable.

8. In case of bad weather, Opera Plovdiv reserves the right to move the performance to an indoor hall, if this is technically possible. In such case, the move will be communicated at least 8 hours in advance.

9. Opera Plovdiv is not responsible for wet seats in the event of rain before the performance. Spectators are most politely advised to provide personal drying equipment.
