The Ballet of Opera Plovdiv is an international troupe featuring dancers from eight different countries, all of whom have chosen Plovdiv as their creative home.
In recent years, the troupe has built and developed a distinctive style characterized by dynamism, expressiveness and successful transitions through various dance styles. This achievement is the result of collaboration with world-renowned choreographers such as Leo Mujic, Valentina Turcu, Radu Poklitaru, Jiří Bubeníček, as well as talented Bulgarian choreographers. The troupe is led by Mariana Krancheva.
