THE FESTIVE PROGRAM CONTINUES IN THE FIRST MONTH OF 2021!

The program of Opera Plovdiv for January welcomes the new year with a diverse program, including festive concerts and performances for the little ones.

Due to the great interest in the New Year's gala "CHARDASH, WALTZ, CHAMPAGNE, RING", the concert-performance with the participation of soloists, choir, ballet and orchestra of Opera Plovdiv will be played "encore" on January 15 at 19:00. The conductor is Konstantin Dobroinkov, and the program presents the New Year's musical tradition of Europe with works by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar, Imre Kalman and others.

A weekend for the whole family is coming with the ballet title "THE NUTCRACKER" - Tchaikovsky on January 16 from 11 am and 4 pm, and with the musical "SNOWMAN AND THE SEVEN DWARFS" by Atanas Kosev with a unique 3D mapping, 17 hours and January 23rd.
Opera Plovdiv will present on its stage "SYNTHETICS" - a dance performance by Zhivko Zhelyazkov, dedicated to "The Plastic Man", produced by Derida Dance Center on January 19 at 19:00.
The "Music in a Frame" series is dedicated to the GREAT ITALIAN CINEMA. The Plovdiv Opera Orchestra with conductor Dian Chobanov will present the timeless film music from the Italian classics "The Godfather", "Romeo and Juliet", "La Dolce Vita" and others. on January 20 at 7 p.m.

The postponed Concert 2 of the VIENNA CLASSICS cycle will take place on January 22nd. Under the baton of the maestro, Dian Chobanov will be performed Mozart - Symphony №41, "Jupiter" and Arias and ensembles from the opera "Don Juan".

The chamber format "Opera Boutique" will meet the audience with the talents of the Plovdiv publisher, translator and public figure, author of music MANOL PEYKOV, who will perform his favourite works and will be greeted by the soloists of Opera Plovdiv. The music meeting-conversation is on January 23 from 18:00.
