"Don Giovanni" from the OPERA OPEN 2021 program will be the first opera by Mozart to be staged at the Ancient Theater since its opening! The July 24 premiere offers a highly provocative reading by Polish director Michal Znaniecki, who has more than 120 opera and theater productions around the world, and a musical return to Mozart's roots by conductor Dian Chobanov, who as a Viennese graduate does his best with an instrumental and vocal ensemble. approached the original sound of the opera. The director builds his whole concept on the ideas of the #MeToo movement against violence against women. The aim is to use art to warn the public - a "red light" for acute social problems, as well as to suggest solutions to deal with them, which are encoded in the works.
