Swan lake in the Singing Fountains

Plovdiv Opera and Plovdiv Municipality invite Plovdiv residents and guests to a enchanting ballet performance on stage in the waters of the Singing Fountains in Plovdiv, which will open the Autumn Salon of Arts 2021! The ballet of the Plovdiv Opera will present selected scenes from Tchaikovsky's classics "Swan Lake" with soloists Fumi Shibutami-Penchev, Amadeo Junta, Mara Salvaggio, Dian Raichev. The effect of the choreography of the swans will be complemented by the water figures of the fountains. The second part of the performance will include dance miniatures to the music of Astor Piazzolla and performances by opera soloists Evgenia Ralcheva and August Metodiev.
For the first time a stage will be built in the water lake, and the idea is of Assoc. Prof. Nina Naydenova and the Deputy Mayor for Culture Plamen Panov with the assistance of the administration of the Central Region. Access to the event is free!
