Premiere of "Chipollino" - ballet for children

Opera Plovdiv will delight families for Christmas with the fabulous ballet "Chipollino" by Karen Khachaturian based on the famous book by Gianni Rodari. In it, the protagonist Chipollino fights against the unfair treatment of vegetables by the fruit aristocracy, led by Prince Lemon and the overly proud Don Tomato. The premiere performances with the participation of the Plovdiv Ballet of Opera are on 11.12 from 17h, 17.12 from 17h and 18.12 from 11h.

The ballet performance of Opera Plovdiv lasts one hour and is suitable for children over 4 years and their parents. The production team believes that adults will also watch Luccio with interest, as it encodes many current messages about political oppression.
