OPERA OPEN 2023 welcomes leading international artists in the performance "Turandot" on July 1 at the Ancient Theatre. The conductor is the charismatic Jacopo Sipari Di Pescasseroli, guest conductor at the Opera Festival at the Ancient Theater in Taormina, Sicily and at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.

In the role of Turandot, the audience will once again enjoy the performance of the Korean soprano Lilla Lee, who conquered the Ancient Theater in OPERA OPEN 2016 and 2017 with her excellent vocal qualities and with her artistic interpretation of the image of the cruel Chinese princess.

The famous aria "Nessun Dorma" will be performed by the Spanish tenor Alejandro Roy, who made his debut on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera New York as Prince Calaf in "Turandot" in 2019 in the production of Franco Zeffirelli
