Hyuncheong Park, a flutist, a native of Seoul, Korea studied with Julius Baker, Paula Robison and Andras Adorjan among others at the world prestigious music schools such as the Juilliard School in NY and Musik Hochschule in Munich and so on. She also achieved her DMA at Boston University in 2007.

From the early age on, as a promising musician, she won the numerous renowned competitions such as Donga Music competition and also performed with many orchestras in her home country. In 1999 she won the 1st prize at the Valentino Bucchi Music competition in Rome and the Popputsakis Flute competition as well as NEC Concerto Competition in Boston. After receiving these awards she has been invited as a soloist and a recitalist at the prestigious halls such as Seoul Arts Center, Se Jong Arts Center, Carnegie Recital Hall, Jordan hall to name a few. Also she has performed as a soloist with Budapest Chamber Orchestra, NEC Symphony Orchestra, Daejeon City Orchestra, KBS Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra and so on. While she has been actively performing, recently she was invited to New York Summer Music Festival in 2013 for teaching and playing chamber music. As a keen chamber musician she has been a music director of Ensemble NORI since 2008. Currently she is in the faculty member of Chongshin, Mokwon and Soongshil University in Korea.
