Krum Galabov
Soloist
Krum Gălăbov began his musical journey as a soloist with the Representative Boys' Choir of Plovdiv, performing in numerous concerts. In 1994, he won first place at the Varna International Music Festival and received a scholarship to study at the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music. He furthered his vocal studies at the Academy of Music and Fine Arts and worked at Vienna's Burgtheater from 1996 to 2000. Since 2001, he has been a soloist with the Wiener Residenzorchester and Salonorchester Alt Wien.
Gălăbov has performed in major venues such as the Arena di Verona, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Italy, and Teatro Argentino de la Plata in Buenos Aires. His career also includes performances with the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan and Beethoven Orchester in Bonn. In 2013, he performed in Pagliacci at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, under the direction of Franco Zeffirelli. Gălăbov’s 2014 engagements include performances both in Bulgaria and abroad, with a notable debut at the State Opera of Stara Zagora as Count Belfiore in Verdi's King for a Day.
