Linus Lerner

Maestro Linus Lerner is highly praised for his charisma and passionate energy, which inspire performers and captivate audiences. With performances across the USA, Brazil, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, Lerner seamlessly combines conducting symphony orchestras with leading operatic productions.

His current engagements include conducting orchestras and festivals in Italy, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, Turkey, Mexico, and Brazil. He serves as Music Director of the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra (USA), the Rio Grande do Norte Orchestra (Brazil), the "Gramado in Concert" International Festival (Brazil), and the San Luis Opera Festival (Mexico).

Among his accolades are the "Ohtli" medal from the Mexican government, honors in Brazil, and the "Key to the City" from Tucson. Lerner has recorded albums with Naxos and the London Philharmonic Orchestra and holds a doctorate in orchestral conducting from the University of Arizona.
