Lilla Lee and Kamen Chanev will star in "Turandot" on 21 July, 9 pm, Ancient Theatre - Plovdiv

Lilla Lee was born in South Korea. In 2003 she graduated from the Milan Conservatory . In 2004, her career took another dimension while studying intensively with bass Bonaldo Giaiotti, when she changed from mezzo-soprano to soprano. Her title role is that of Turandot, which she performs throughout the world, including the production of Arena Di Verona for the opera in Oman, directed by Franco Zeffirelli.

Kamen Chanev was born in Sliven. There graduated the French High School, then the Conservatory in Sofia. She specialized in Rome, at the Academy of Boris Hristov, with Alexandrina Milcheva. In 1992 he began work at Sofia Opera.  After five seasons he moved to Prague, where he sang two years before going to freelance. Currently, he lives in Vienna and performs on prestigious stages such as Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Arena di Verona, Leceto in Barcelona, La Fenice in Venice and others.
