 The best of operetta in VIVA L'OPERETTA on 26 July at the Ancient Theatre form 9 pm with soloists, choir, ballet and orchestra of Opera Plovdiv and guest-soloists from Vienna and Budapest:

The young singer Bettina Schweiger, studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is sought-after soloist in Austria and abroad. She participates in performances and concerts in Volksoper Vienna and Vienna Concert Hall.

Baritone Michael Havlicek graduated from the Vienna Conservatory in 2004. He made his debut as Papageno in Vienna, Volksoper in 2011, and since 2012 he has been a soloist of the prestigious opera theatre, performing roles in "The Magic Flute", "Carmen" and in the operetta "The Merry Widow", "Night in Venice" and others

Karoly Peller is born in Hungary. From 1998 he is one of the leading solists in the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre. His important roles are Zsupan in Grafin Mariza, Brissard in Der Graf von Luxemburg and Poire in Sybill as well as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. He appeared in Vienna, Liepzig, Amsterdam, London, Rome, Japan and Canada. He participated in several television productions.

Szilvi Szendy, soprano, was born in Hungary. She is a member of the Budapest Operetta theatre since 1998 where her roles include Olga in Die lustige Witwe, Mi in Das Land des Lächelns (Lehár), Lisa in Gräfin Mariza (Kálmán), Liesl in The Sound of Music, Metella in La Vie Parisienne (Offenbach) and others. She also performs in theatre productions.
