Plovdiv Opera International Conducting Competition

State Opera Plovdiv in cooperation with Associazione Artes, proudly presents the first edition of Plovdiv Opera International Conducting Competition.
All the phases of the competition will be held with live symphony orchestra in Plovdiv from September the 25th until September the 30th 2023.
Alongside the prize concerts, the Winner of the competition will become Assistant Conductor of Opera Plovdiv, for a minimum 1-year period.
The competition represents an invaluable chance for an emerging conductor to build a career and establish themselves on the world stage.
