A parable about the soft and the hard, about homo ludens and dry rationality, about intuition and logic, about the one who bears Love and the one who does not allow it within himself. Here, Mozart and Salieri are not just two personalities, but two essences/aspects living within a person. Beyond their antagonism, there is a strong interconnection—one essence seeks paternal support from the other, while the second finds meaning in its existence through the first. The destruction and absorption of one by the other leads to the collapse of the Personality.
