“Die Zauberflöte” by Mozart – a production by leading theatre director Diana Dobreva, under the baton of Dian Tchobanov.
The allegorical musical fairy tale about the triumph of light over darkness comes to life through the digital language of scenographer Petko Tanchev and the imaginative costume design of Marina Raychinova.
“Die Zauberflöte” – a flight of imagination and an enchanting experience for audiences of all ages!

“Music has always been a tremendous source of inspiration for me — in theatre, in life. I could even say it is the art form I feel closest to God, the one that moves most powerfully upward along the vertical.
I am truly happy and take it as a challenge to stage my first opera here in Plovdiv — the city that, over the past ten years, has become home to the kind of theatre I have always dreamed of creating.
I hope this new experience will bring fresh emotions to opera lovers, and that many of our theatre audience in Plovdiv will also come to see The Magic Flute.
I would like to thank Director Dian Tchobanov for his trust and for the invitation.”
