Details
“Kids in the Orchestra” is a concert model that brings together professional musicians from the orchestra of State Opera Plovdiv, young amateur instrumentalists, and the audience. Children from the residential care centers “Detska Kashta” and “Mayka Teresa” in Plovdiv are also part of the young performers. The educational programme aims to introduce the audience to orchestral music, musical instruments, and works from the repertoire. The young instrumentalists take part as orchestra members and soloists in selected works, while the children in the audience are invited to participate in some of the pieces under the guidance of the conductor and a team of educators from Divizi Music House.
The concert marks the 10th anniversary of Divizi Music House in Plovdiv.
