The Barber of Seville is one of the most famous comic operas in the world, and the refrain "Figaro! Figaro! Figaro!" has long become a favorite among millions of viewers. Nina Naydenova playfully explores the well-known quote "Folly and vanity go hand in hand" by Pierre de Beaumarchais, the author of the play The Barber of Seville. Her original directorial choices and surprises for the audience enhance the satire embedded in the libretto, incorporating direct references to the contemporary political scene. The costumes and masks designed by Nikolina Kostova-Bogdanova, along with the choreography by Boriana Sechanova, highlight the vibrant individuality of all the characters.
