State Opera Plovdiv announces auditions for soloists for Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) – Mozart in connection with the upcoming premiere in the 2025/26 season, conducted by Dian Chobanov and directed by Diana Dobreva.

The Plovdiv Opera presents the premiere of the opera "Otello" by Giuseppe Verdi on January 31st at 7:00 PM, conducted by Grigor Palikarov. The production is directed by Petko Bonev, who created it specifically for the revival of the FOIB Festival in Stara Zagora, and is now re-staging it at the invitation of the Plovdiv Opera's management. The set design is by Boris Stoynov, the costumes are created by Tsvetanka Petkova-Stoynova, and the dances are an adaptation of the choreography by Romina Slavova.

Dear audience, due to an injury of the soloist Marta Petkova, the performance of "Anna Karenina" originally scheduled for January 24th, has been rescheduled to a new date, 3rd of February!

Due to an unexpected schedule change at the Boris Hristov Cultural Center, the ballet performance Anna Karenina on 22.10 (Tuesday) has been moved to a NEW DATE - 27.10 (Sunday) at 7:00 PM.
